Having just returned from a weeks holiday in Spain I was pleased to discover that I had already been paid £11.76 cashback from Quidco for booking one of the hotels I stayed in through Thomson Holidays.
In addition I am also expecting to receive another £4.11 cashback from my travel insurance, £5.47 from airport parking and £1.01 from ordering my currency online with Travelex (to avoid credit card fees always pay with a debit card!).
So in total I should get £22.35 cashback from this holiday, and as I would have booked all these services anyway it really is money for nothing!
Plus whilst I was away I also received 51p cashback from something I purchased online a while back with Tesco.
As part of my Euro2008 Matched Betting challenge I signed up with Cashback Kings as they were offering the most cashback for one particular bookmaker that I planned to sign up with.
The £25 cashback was credited to my account 2 months after I signed up which was a bit slow, but I know this can be down to the merchant rather than the cashback site. Like Quidco, Cashback kings charge an annual fee of £5 so after paying this I was left with £20 which was credited to my account today.
I finally won my battle to claim back my credit card penalty fees today when I received a letter from my credit card provider confirming they would refund the charges in full. The battle commenced back in May when I sent them a letter based on the brilliant templates provided by MoneySavingExpert.com.
