World’s biggest lottery prize up for grabs

There is a £100m jackpot up for grabs tonight in the EuroMillions lottery draw and as they say ‘it could be you’. If only one ticket holder wins the jackpot it will the the world’s biggest ever lottery prize. I don’t normally think entering the lottery is a good idea as the odds are stacked up against you. In fact the chance of walking away with the £100m is 1 in 76,275,360 or in other words very unlikely.

However I signed up as a National Lottery registered user on their website earning myself 50p cashback via Quidco and by buying a lottery ticket online I earned myself another £5.50 cashback.

A £100m jackpot winner would earn approximately £14,041.10 per day in interest alone - that’s £98,287.67 per week, £421,232.88 per month and a mammoth £5,125,000 per year.

So after spending £1.50 on a EuroMillions lottery ticket I am up £4.50 and I now have a 1 in 24 chance of winning a prize in tonight’s draw. I am not holding out much hope of walking away with the full £100m, although if I did that would bring Millionaire Adventure to an abrupt end. What next…. Billionaire Adventure coming to a screen near you soon?!?

The draw was made lastnight and nobody matched all 5 balls with the 2 lucky stars. So the jackpot was shared amongst 15 people who won £7,055,142.10 each for matching 5 balls with one of the lucky stars. Unfortunately I was not one of those lucky winners so Millionaire Adventure continues…
