Out of 10 items that I re-listed on eBay only one of them sold making me a £1.20 profit. Hopefully I will have a bit more luck on Wednesday when I have another 12 items that I re-listed due to end.
And if you are wondering about the headline, well it was a pair of shorts that I sold so I couldn’t resist! Plus I am still feeling short changed from one of the original auction winners refusing to pay up with his excuses for not paying getting worse by the day.
Having spent all week packing 30 parcels ready to send items off to my eBay auction winners it feels great to have finally put the brown tape away. Nearly all the items are now posted and it’s time to count up how much I have made, however before I enjoy this treat there are a few tricks to overcome first…

With the pound falling over 15% against the euro this year it probably should have come as no surprise to me that German consumers are looking to the UK for bargain purchases. However, I had not thought about how this would effect my recent eBay selling before recently listing another batch of items for sale.

Having just returned from a weeks holiday in Spain I was pleased to discover that I had already been paid £11.76 cashback from Quidco for booking one of the hotels I stayed in through Thomson Holidays.
In addition I am also expecting to receive another £4.11 cashback from my travel insurance, £5.47 from airport parking and £1.01 from ordering my currency online with Travelex (to avoid credit card fees always pay with a debit card!).
So in total I should get £22.35 cashback from this holiday, and as I would have booked all these services anyway it really is money for nothing!
Plus whilst I was away I also received 51p cashback from something I purchased online a while back with Tesco.
As part of my Euro2008 Matched Betting challenge I signed up with Cashback Kings as they were offering the most cashback for one particular bookmaker that I planned to sign up with.
The £25 cashback was credited to my account 2 months after I signed up which was a bit slow, but I know this can be down to the merchant rather than the cashback site. Like Quidco, Cashback kings charge an annual fee of £5 so after paying this I was left with £20 which was credited to my account today.
