I'm on holiday until the middle of May so there will be less updates than normal, however I have scheduled a series of holiday money saving posts for you to read while I'm gone.

January summary

Well the first month of my adventure is over and I am happy with the start I have had earning £77.64. However continuing to earn at this rate means it will take me another 1073 years to complete my challenge and become a millionaire. 15% saving at M&S

I needed to buy some new clothes today to replace some clothes that were falling apart (well I had to get my moneys worth out of them!). Anyway, I found what I wanted at M&S, did another google search to find some vouchers and managed to save myself 15% and get free delivery thrown in all thanks to http://www.hotdealsuk.com.

Total saving = £16.85

Free money on the shelves at Tesco

Had to order some food online today and a quick google search found me a £5 voucher thanks to http://tescovouchercodes.blogspot.com/. Free money as far as I am concerned as I was ready to pay the full price anyway.

Highlights included finding £4.65 in my gym bag which I seem to remember putting there just in case I got hungry whilst visiting the gym. Seeing as one of my other new year’s resolutions is to lose weight, removing temptation seemed like a good idea.

I then found another £1.70 scattered around my flat which would probably have found its way to my penny jar next time I tidy the flat but that could be months with it just sitting there doing nothing.

So I didn’t find a fortune but it’s £6.35 towards my target!

Beckham hits jackpot at L.A. Galaxy

Looks like David Beckham has sorted his pension out by signing a 5 year deal with L.A. Galaxy worth £128m.

That works out to be £25.6m per year or for those paid by the hour, assuming a 37 hour week, he will be earning £13,306 per hour (less tax of course!). So if he was to undertake the millionaire adventure challenge he would achieve it in just under 75 hours.
