Summer Sale: Update 3
The shops are continuing to slash prices in an attempt to keep consumers spending so on I go with my eBay sales. This time it was the turn of my xbox to face the ‘everything must go’ treatment with all my games being listed on eBay as I have not even switched the console on for over 9 months!
In total 12 of the 15 games that I listed sold for anything between 99p and a massive £10.27 for the Sims: Busting Out. Four items that had previously failed to sell also went albeit at knocked down prices including a suit jacket for just 99p.
In total I raised £74.12 and taking advantage of eBay’s offer of half price listing fees kept listing fees down to £3.71 this time. Several payments were also sent by postal order which kept my PayPal fees down to £3.55, but postage came in much higher at £18.08 largely due to the cost of posting two jackets.
In the end I was left with a £48.78 profit for about two hours work as the computer games were very quick to list thanks to quick Google searches providing the item descriptions. This works out as a very respectable rate of £24.39 which beats all my previous eBay sales by quite some way.
