Closing out my first matched bet

I used my £20 free bet that I qualified for after the Portugal v Turkey match on tonight’s game between Greece and Sweden. I backed a draw with the bookmaker and lay against this result on Betfair with the following possible outcomes:

The game itself was boring with Greece frustrating Sweden at every opportunity before Sweden finally took control of the game going on to win two-nil. But it did prove to be a nice little earner with me netting a profit of £13.08 from an initial investment of just £20 (less of course the £1 I lost qualifying for the free bet). This equals the 60% return I made yesterday and easily beats any savings account, it’s just a shame I can’t invest more!
