Holland comfortably beat Italy (and I beat the bookies too!)

Holland brush Italy aside in some style tonight beating them three nil with a very impressive attacking display. Whilst tonight’s game really could have gone either way before kick off, the outcomes of my betting on the game was far more predictable. That’s because I had a £50 free bet from the bookmaker that I registered with yesterday that I used to back Italy. Then to ensure that I won money either way I lay against Italy with Betfair again. It wasn’t a perfect match bet as I stood to win more if Italy had won, but either way I stood to win. If you add the 49p that I won from my original £50 bet yesterday and the £29.47 I won tonight, that represents a 60% return on my investment. The only risk with this form of matched betting is that of me screwing up the bets.
